To Roll or not to Roll- San Diego, CA

When in California, the last things you might try is Asian food. Since my dad only eats Asian food, we opted for some Vietnamese food. The restaurant is in downtown, a few blocks away from our hotel. The entree helpings are huge so don't be afraid to share or take out your leftovers. I ordered a plate of fried rice for myself. Of course, you might want to try their pho because it is in the restaurant's name. One of their popular items is the pho ga (chicken noodle soup).

The spring rolls are pretty expensive, at about $4.50/2 pieces, but they are good appetizers to share. The spring rolls are deliciously crunchy and they feel lighter/healthier when you eat the rolls wrapped in lettuce.

Have you discovered any delicious appetizer while traveling? Feel free to share your appetizer recipe if you have one.
